WellBeing Heavenly Body Golden Wheat Is The Bees Knees

What a lucky bunch of morons we are to be joined by one of the best NA breweries one more time! WellBeing, brewing is the bee’s knees, and everything they make is phenomenal! Do I want more sweet stouts from them? Yes, but I am happy with all that is available, and my IPA favorites are often found with the WellBeing Brewing label. This week is another standard brew for everyone to enjoy, and I think you will have classy beer boners as you drink it up.

This week we are drinking Heavenly Body by WellBeing Brewing, a golden wheat beer ready to tickle your tongue tonsils. Whenever I see a non-alcoholic wheat beer, I think of the classic full octane brew, Blue Moon. My expectations are a golden-colored, slightly cloudy beer with a hint of citrus and a full-body mouth feel that has a nice balance and a slight love affair with some roasted malts.

How Does It Pour?

Cracking open this can, you get a slight aroma of citrus, maybe orange or lemon, coming into the air. WellBeing promises that hint of flavor with the smell and continues to meet the standards of a wheat beer as you pour it in the glass. The color is perfect and the white head remains a nice accent to the full-bodied look. The color is a perfect golden and you know this body is about to get all sorts of heavenly.

How Does It Taste?

When you bring this brew to your lips, WellBeing toys with your expectations, the beer has a light body and mouth feel. The citrus accents compliment the wheat and malt balance that come into your mouth and let you know they are there to party. The lightness is a welcome surprise as your eyes spy the next five cans in the six-pack. Let’s get funky!

Untappd gives Heavenly Body Golden Wheat by WellBeing Brewing a 3.1 out of 5. I would say that’s a pretty good rating for a standard brew in the NA space. As a standalone NA beer, compared to others in its field, I would give this guy a 4 out of 5, and it stands up as a solid choice if you want that flagship wheat flavor.
