The Sober Curator Squad, Along with Recovery is the New Black, Talk About Recovery Lifestyle & #JUST424 Movement

Thursday, April 15th, The Sober Curator and Friends presented to King County Recovery Coalition on their monthly virtual event. The theme was Recovery Lifestyle. This dynamic panel of sober influencers included Alysse Bryson, Founder of The Sober Curator, along with Brooke Robichaud and Suzanne Logan, Co-Founders of The Seek Purpose Collective & Podcast. The panel was also joined by DJ Missing Mei, Founder of The Creative Sober, and Michelle Smith, Founder of Recovery is the New Black and member of the Sober Mom Squad. Heather Venegas of KCRC was the emcee for the afternoon.

Each panelist on the Recovery Lifestyle shared about their individual recovery projects, along with their group collaboration of the upcoming 2nd Annual #JUST424 Event coming Saturday, April 24th.

The mission of this campaign is to raise the vibrations that a sober life can be wildly rewarding and to show support for the recovery community. Maybe you are an ally of the recovery community? You are also strongly encouraged to participate in the fun. Hey, it’s #JUST424 – Won’t you join us?

King County Recovery Coalition Events

Each event is designed to create connections among individuals and organizations that strengthen the recovery community as a whole. Guests log in from all over Washington State and sometimes even visitors from around the country tune in. As a result, recovery communities continue to find unique ways to network in a world that is still largely in lockdown.

Each month, this organization hosts guest speakers on topics ranging from recovery coaching to the role of local government in behavioral health systems and facilitates community events that bring the lived experiences of people in recovery straight to decision-makers.
