The Daily Llama’s Weekly Word of the Day and Meditations
The Daily Llama, by Staci DesRault, brings you short, one-word meditations and a corresponding quote plus a reflection for your complete wool-being (#seewhatwedidthere?) for Monday, November 20th – Friday, November 24th, 2023.
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 20th
WORD OF THE DAY: CONTENTMENT
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
MEDITATE ON THIS:
Today I will practice being satisfied with what I have. I will see the beauty that is my life in this unique moment. I will embrace what good things are currently in my life. I will accept that I already have everything that I really need at this moment, and trust that I will be provided with what I need for tomorrow.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 21st
WORD OF THE DAY: NOURISH
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
MEDITATE ON THIS:
Today I will make room for what nourishes me—mind, body, and soul. I will pause before saying yes or no. I will evaluate whether my next decision adds value to my life or someone else’s life. Today I will seek to take care of myself in a loving and honest way.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 22nd
WORD OF THE DAY: RESTORATIVE
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
MEDITATE ON THIS:
Today I give full attention to restoring myself to health. I will focus on small actions that support my healing process. I will speak and listen to others as much as my heart and mind needs to feel connected and supported. I will drink as much water as I feel that I need today. I will move my body as much as I feel I need to move today. I will eat as much food as I sense my body needs to complete its tasks. I will practice asking myself: is this enough? I will practice saying to myself: I can let this be enough.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23rd
WORD OF THE DAY: EASE
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
MEDITATE ON THIS:
Today I will focus on accepting myself wholly and unconditionally. My spirit is at ease as I practice gratitude for the good that is in my life. I will breathe in self-acceptance and breathe out resentments and regret. Today I meditate on how the most important opinion about me is the one I have of myself.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 24th
WORD OF THE DAY: ENOUGH
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
MEDITATE ON THIS:
Today I lean into the belief that I am enough as I am. I do not need to prove my worth to anyone. I will work on observing the people, places, or things that trigger feelings of unworthiness and will strive either to change my thoughts about them or release them from my life. Today I will practice “being” enough. I am simply enough by being.
