Sober in PDX? Check Out This In-Person Course on Authentic Relating with the My Sober Girlfriends Community

Do you live in the greater Portland, Oregon area? Are you craving more authentic, meaningful relationships?

Join Naomi Veak, founder of the My Sober Girlfriends friendship community in Portland, Oregon, as she helps facilitate an in-person training on Authentic Relating October 1 and 2.

Naomi was sober two years when she came across Authentic Relating while searching for connecting online activities to her sober Meetup group. Once Naomi noticed an incredible transformation in her relationships, she understood what a life-changing practice this could be for other sober folks and began training to become a certified Authentic Relating facilitator. Sober folks often long for a new way of relating with others, but there isn’t much out there that teaches genuine, authentic connection. This is unlike any other communication or relationship class you’ve experienced.

In this 2-day training, you’ll leave with:

  • Powerful language and skill-set to accurately and transparently express your authentic experience in real-time and to invite others to do the same

  • Awareness to identify your true, core desires and the ability to articulate them to others

  • Profound understanding of the dignity of speaking your authentic voice, and the humility of using your eyes and ears to pay attention to – and learn from – the people and world around you

  • Complete set of powerful tools to de-escalate conflict and to use conflict as a vehicle leading to a deeper connection, understanding, and empathy

  • Restored connection to childlike genuine curiosity, and a perspective that regards the world with awe and wonder

Not  only that, but you’ll have an experience of profoundly vulnerable, intimate, beautiful connections with other participants that will leave you inspired, delighted, and heart-opened.
