Play It Again: Sober Summer by Jon Jeremy

At The Sober Curator, we love supporting sober musicians and artists that are recovering out loud. If you have recommendations, please slide into our DMs because we have a serious case of sober fomo. (*fear of missing out, in case you’re not in the acronym-know)

Check out this new single from Jon Jeremy, known to his fans on Instagram as @jonjeremyraps. He also hosts a podcast called The Sober Fanboy and is working on a cool crowd funding project called the Dead Poets Sobriety. (See what he did there?)

DEAD POETS SOBRIETY – Help Fund This Project:

Hi! my name is Jon and I’m fundraising for a new musical project!

I’ve been in recovery for substance abuse and mental health for over 12 years!

I will be celebrating 10 years sober in Oct. 2023!

It’s been a long tough and adventurous road.

I have a story to tell and hopefully can entertain and inspire at the same time!

I’ve been putting out music throughout my whole recovery and beforehand as well. I am now at a point where I do need help financially with this project if I am to move forward with it! I needed to admit I couldn’t do it on my own. So, your help would be greatly appreciated and needed. Anything would help! even 1 dollar could go towards this project! Thank you in advance! Love you all!

PLAY IT AGAIN: Music can instantly transport you to another state of mind and alter your mood in a heartbeat. This section features select songs that represent some part of our journey and serve as sobriety anthems in reminding us to stay the course. These are the ones that have us saying PLAY IT AGAIN” and always end up on repeat. No decade or genre is off-limits. Happy listening!

What’s your sobriety theme song?  If there is a song you think should be on our playlist, we want to hear about it.  Send your requests to [email protected]

Maybe podcasts are more your jam? We’ve got you boo! RECOVERY PODCASTLAND provides a curated list of the recovery-based podcasts that we are following.
