Just a Merry Mocktail Monday Collab with @Tonix.Mocktails – The Staples Class 107: How many ways can you play with one ingredient??

At The Sober Curator our glass is always half-full, there’s just no booze in it. This week’s collaboration Just a Merry Mocktail Monday with @Tonix.Mocktails helps us level up on our ingredients game. ToMAYto – ToMAHto … How many ways can you play with one ingredient??

The Staples Class 107: multi uses for ingredients

On this, Just a Merry Mocktail Monday, let’s chat about the various ways to use one ingredient! We can exercise our imagination and think outside the box for uses of a not-so-common ingredient… Tomato!

Tomato is a fruit, unlike one that we would ‘normally’ grab for a mocktail. Of course, citrus and berries are usually the first that comes to mind when creating non-alcoholic drinks, but let’s not forget the complexity of a delicious tomato. With the popularity of the “Bloody” drinks (Mary, Maria… et cetera) and in LA, Micheladas are extremely popular with the salt-loving crowd.  Tomatoes can introduce ya into the world of SAVORY.

One Tomato in all the ways:

🍅

 – Dehydrate – Tomato Wheel Garnish

🍅

 – Dehydrate – Grind – ‘Mocktail Dust’ for rimming or dusting

🍅

 – Fresh – Muddle as a buildable ingredient

🍅

 – (Keep the Vine for garnish as well)

Tomato pairs well with spicy, salty, briny, vegetable, and citrus flavors! This leaves the door wide open for possibilities of creating Zero Added Sugar bevies that have loads of nutrients and a taste that makes you go “Mmmm”.

Don’t forget to show off!

Have any great Tomato creations?Tag @tonix.mocktails and @thesobercurator !! We’d LOOOOVE to see what you make!

Until Next Week!!To Your Health!-Nik
