This sparkling non-alcoholic rosé is perfect for late night drinks and hangover-free mornings. Unlike other non-alcoholic brands that sell grape juice in a wine bottle, Surely works with the best California winemakers to make natural wine. They use an innovative technology called Spinning Cone Column that removes the alcohol without sacrificing the taste. This gentle process uses vacuum distillation to reach a precise temperature, retaining its aroma and natural flavor. The result? A non-alcoholic wine that tastes just like the real thing.

Admittingly, I wasn’t much of a wine drinker before getting sober over 15+ years ago. I can’t personally confirm this tastes exactly like “the real thing,” but I would argue it probably comes pretty close. I’d also like to add that I didn’t find this beverage triggering. If I did, I wouldn’t have drunk it. Nothing is worth compromising my recovery. Those in early recovery may find this triggering, so I encourage you to drink mindfully and make the best beverage choices for you.

Drinking a bottle without consequences

I shared this bottle with my dad earlier this fall, and we both enjoyed sipping it throughout a warm, late fall evening sitting around the backyard fireplace. Drinking “for the taste” is pretty new for me, as that is not how I drank before getting sober. While I enjoyed Surely’s Sparkling Rosé, I’m not convinced I’m a rosé gal, which is weird because I’m usually on board with anything pink! LOL, I’m excited to try their sparkling white, non-alcoholic Sauvignon Blanc and Brut. And I’m particularly interested in trying their Lemon Ginger Spritz and Coconut Passion Fruit Spritz.

The packaging is quite lovely, and this feels like a great option to take to a dinner party that might be a mixed company of alcohol and non-alcohol drinkers, especially if there are sparkling rosé fans in the group. In conclusion, I enjoyed Surely’s Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Rosé, but it’s unlikely I will drink it with any frequency.

HAPPY EVERY HOUR: We know we mix a mean mocktail. HAPPY EVERY HOUR will keep you up to date on the latest and greatest trends in the world of mocktails and zero-proof beverages.

TRIGGER WARNING: People in early sobriety may want to proceed with caution. Always read labels. Please hydrate responsibly … because drunk never looks good.
