  1. Weekly Virtual Huddle Online – Peers Supporting Peers (Mondays 7-8pm) Join the weekly virtual huddle where peers gather for intentional conversations filled with support, encouragement, and camaraderie. Every Monday from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, immerse yourself in a space of understanding and solidarity. Register and use the meeting link to be part of this transformative experience.

  2. Cable Line Weekly Hike – King County (Wednesdays 5:30pm-8pm) Embark on a challenging hike at Tiger Mountain Cable Line trailhead every Wednesday from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. This steep and rewarding conditioning hike invites you to elevate your hiking fitness while connecting with nature and fellow adventurers. Remember to bring essential gear and contact Bill Goodgion for any questions.

  3. “We Wednesdays” Cycling Group – Pierce County (Wednesdays 6-8pm) Pedal towards healing and empowerment with the “We Wednesdays” cycling group at 2nd Cycle Community Cycle Center in Tacoma, Washington. Led by Naomi Herrera, this bi-weekly cycling adventure aims to unite individuals in recovery and allies for a transformative ride towards well-being and community connection. Saddle up for a 7-10 mile bike journey filled with camaraderie and shared experiences.

  4. Pierce County Community Social @ Fort Nisqually Park (12pm-4pm) Join the community social event at Fort Nisqually Park, where friends and family are welcomed to enjoy a variety of activities including walks, acro yoga, polar plunges, and relaxation in the park. Connect with loved ones and embrace the joy of community in a picturesque setting.

  5. Recovery Beyond LIVE! Virtual Event (Last Monday of the Month – June 24 at 7pm) Mark your calendars for the virtual event on June 24th featuring a guest speaker that will inspire and empower. Join the live gathering to engage with the recovery community and explore insightful discussions on recovery and personal growth.

  6. Summer of 1 Million Steps / Scavenger Hunt & Step Challenge (May 1st – July 31st) Embark on a summer challenge to take 1 million steps and uncover 12 clues in 93 days. This scavenger hunt and step challenge invite Recovery Beyond members, volunteers, partners, and allies to embrace the journey of discovery, movement, and growth. Walk, run, skip, dance, and explore the world around you as you embark on this exciting adventure of self-discovery and connection.

Our events range from monthly community gatherings to exciting group experiences and guided excursions including hiking, kayaking, pickleball, snowshoeing, our highlight Annual Adventure, and more.

As an independent Non-Profit we are not affiliated with any outside groups or organizations and also offer free recovery coaching, skill building opportunities, and trainings to support your personal path of recovery, whatever that may be.
