WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

This is YOUR chance to become a Sober Curator for a day! If you have the perfect sober city agenda, reach out to us! We would love to share your idea of how to have the PERFECT SOBER DAY IN YOUR CITY with our community. DM us on social media or email us directly at [email protected]. (*PS – it’s totally ok if it really turns into a sober weekend agenda LOL)

Don’t manage a sober city Instagram account, but still want to write up a sober review about your city? NO PROBLEM! We still want to hear from you.

What does it involve?

Good question! You are a unique individual, so we don’t want to dictate what’s included in a perfect sober day in your city. You may be excited but wondering how to get started. The following is a list of suggestions, examples, and recommendations on how to provide us with a guide to your city to add to our growing sober city resource guide.

Article logistics:

  • Your post should be at least 300-word count, not to exceed 2,000 words. Need help with editing? Don’t you worry! That’s a service we provide to you for fun and for free. We’ll make sure you and your city look good!

  • Please provide your article in a word doc or google sheet.

  • Please include info about you! What’s your story? How long have you been sober? Make sure to provide us with your social media handles and website link if you’ve got one.

  • Photos – we love pretty pictures! Please send us any photos you’ve taken of your perfect sober day activities, ensuring we have the rights to republish them. (Giving you photo credit, of course)

  • Videos! Did you make a YouTube video or Instagram reel about your city? We’d love to embed it in the article!

  • Music – make a playlist! Or include the links of music videos from your city.

Ideas for things to include:

  • Best places to eat & drink. What local restaurants offer the best mocktail menus?

  • Does your city have a sober bar or shop?

  • Fun activities to do in your city – sober! This can be limitless when it comes to ideas.

  • Sober celebs, musicians, artists from your city

  • Interesting facts or trivia about your city

  • Resources – help us out with any recovery based nonprofit organizations or resources that are based in your city.

  • What are the best places to stay in your city? What’s the best time of year to visit your city?

  • Are there any cool events happening in your city that you think our readers would be interested in?

  • What’s the sober community like in your city?

  • Best place to take sober selfies?

You get the idea! Now that the world has officially opened back up, help us curate this fun and helpful guide so our readers who love to travel can see your city through a sober lens. Once published, we will promote your city on all our social media accounts (tagging you, of course!) That’s it, and it’s that simple. You’ll get a chance to review the article before it publishes. We love building community, so if you have more ideas on partnering together, let’s talk about it. We’re open to Instagram lives, Facebook lives, contests, and any other fun ideas you might come up with to highlight your sober city.

Have more questions? We’ve got answers! Email us at [email protected] or slide on into DMs on social media.
