Whenever I get to a point where I can let my consciousness surrender my control, I have noticed that my subconscious steps right back in to retake it.

I definitely miss whiskey since I quit drinking alcohol. But I’ve realized that I need to alter my expectations about finding an exact replacement for the whiskey I had become so fond of.
