F1 Seven-Time Champion, Lewis Hamilton, is 2 Years Sober
PUBLISHER’S NOTE
It’s Monday, and here we are—another week, another swirl of headlines and happenings. Between fashion week buzz, Lewis Hamilton hitting two years of sobriety (yes, speed and sobriety do mix!), and yet another overly ambitious DIY Valentine project that left us sobbing over glitter glue, it’s been a time. Oh, and let’s not forget that we’re officially on the countdown to the Super Bowl—cue the mocktails and nacho platters.
This week’s edition is serving up a little bit of everything: from creating a recovery sanctuary in your home that screams zen vibes only, to the best NA beer that’ll have you dreaming of palm trees in the middle of a Chicago snowstorm. Plus, there’s a throwback to Breaking Bad filming spots, because who doesn’t love a little dark nostalgia? So grab your favorite booze-free bev, throw on your fluffiest robe, and settle in—it’s going to be a fabulous, sober-chic ride 💋

Go Brewing – Sunshine State Tropical IPA is Light and Crisp
Well, there are not too many Florida references I enjoy, but this week, a brewery from outside Chicago takes us there, and I am here for it. However, before we get to the beer, let’s talk about the brewery. Go Brewing from Naperville, IL, came up out of nowhere and was all of a sudden the primary subject of friends and colleagues sending me pictures with the text “Have you tried this yet?” First, the answer was yes, but second, the question to the question was, “Which one?” As a relatively new brewery in the NA space, Go Brewing is coming out of the gate with a list of hits, and it’s freaking crazy!

SOBER TRAVEL
Visiting Breaking Bad Locations
I am a huge fan of the show Breaking Bad, and while visiting Albuquerque, I had the chance to run around and see a number of the filming sites. It was fun to kick around the city either way, but visiting these places in person was incredible. I want to start by first giving credit to an individual and his website for providing all of the location addresses and giving me the motivation to start this website. The website is Roaming Robert, and he did all of the work for this tour a handful of years ago; I just needed to follow his lead.

Lewis Hamilton is 2 Years Sober

Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, has embraced sobriety as a cornerstone of his wellness journey, and it’s paying off both on and off the track. Known for his laser focus and disciplined lifestyle, Hamilton recently revealed that he quit drinking and noticed immediate benefits—better sleep, improved mental clarity, and enhanced physical performance. His decision aligns with his broader commitment to living a healthy, plant-based lifestyle that maximizes his performance in one of the most demanding sports in the world.
Taking his commitment to a new level, Hamilton co-founded Almave, the world’s first non-alcoholic Blue Agave spirit, offering a sophisticated alternative for those seeking to enjoy the taste of tequila without the alcohol. Hamilton’s passion for wellness and authenticity shines through in his involvement, from product development to branding. Reflecting on his journey, he shared, “Since I stopped drinking, I feel so much better—so much more clarity. I sleep better, and I wake up at 5 a.m. ready to go.” By championing sobriety and creating a product that challenges societal norms, Hamilton is driving more than just cars—he’s steering a cultural shift toward mindful living and sober curiosity.

Creating a Recovery Sanctuary: How Your Home Can Help You Heal
When I started feeling more comfortable in my sobriety, something inside me shifted. It wasn’t just about what was happening in my body, heart, and soul—it was about where I lived, too. My environment didn’t feel aligned with this new version of myself. It was tied to an old story I didn’t want to keep reading. I craved a home that reflected the liberation and expansion I was feeling on the inside.
