Daniel Radcliffe is 12 Years Sober + Attend The Intentional Course this November
PUBLISHER’S NOTE
It’s Monday, and today, I am eagerly awaiting the spookiest day of the year; Halloween. What will I be? I honestly don’t know, I never know until the day before. I prefer to watch the costume parade from my window then participate in it and hand out candy to all who dare to knock on my door. Eve, my cat, will be dressed up as a very fierce and scary bumblebee. So if you can muster up the courage to knock, you will earn that full size candy bar in my eyes.
Happy Halloween, enjoy your PSLs before they turn to Holiday drinks, and drink an NA Pumpkin Beer and think of me and my bumblebee cat while you trick or treat this year.

The Boy and The Heron: Hayao Miyazaki’s Masterpiece of Grief and Wonder
As a lifelong fan of Hayao Miyazaki, I had a hunch that his second “retirement” wouldn’t last very long. And thankfully, I was right. Hayao Miyazaki returns from “retirement” with a contemplative and visually breathtaking narrative in The Boy and the Heron, known to international audiences as “How Do You Live?” and named after the main inspiration for the film, the book 1937 How Do You Live? by Genzaburo Yoshino.

Daniel Radcliffe has been Sober for 12 Years
Over the years, Radcliffe has been open about how he first sought sobriety when he felt lost in his life back in 2010. "I definitely think a lot of the drinking that happened towards the end of Potter, and for a little bit after it finished, it was panic and not knowing what to do next, and not being comfortable enough in who I was to remain sober."
Radcliffe went on to continue to have a vibrant career in acting, most notably he won a Tony Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his role as Charley Kringas in Merrily We Roll Along.
Speaking about his decision to go sober, he said it felt "weird" to give up alcohol at such a young age, but that he was "very, very happy" about it. "But I will always be fascinated and frustrated by the question of, 'is this something that would have happened anyway or was this to do with Potter?’”
